Simunara: interactive clinical cases and OSCE practice with a virtual patient

In medicine, hesitation
can cost a life.

You don’t lack knowledge. You lack practice at deciding under pressure.

  1. “What if I freeze?”

Stress wipes out what you know, at the worst moment.

  2. “I’ve read it a hundred times.”

Hundreds of pages, never one real decision.

  3. “No room for error.”

On placement, a mistake has a price: for you, and for the patient.

  4. “When would I even practise?”

Between lectures and shifts, practice always comes last.

You decide.
The patient responds.

Talk to the patient, examine, prescribe: vital signs change in real time. After every case, a reasoned debrief.

  • 9specialties, from emergency medicine to psychiatry
  • 0patients put at risk
  • 100%of your decisions explained

Every good doctor has made mistakes.
The best made them before their first patient.

Simulate. Understand. Correct.

Your first patient,
in three steps.

A few lines are enough. Reply within 24 to 48 hours.

  2. Step into a case

Emergency, paediatrics, intensive care: choose your patient.

  3. Decide, then improve

Every choice is debriefed, and your weak spots become practice missions.

What is Simunara?

Simunara is a web-based clinical simulation platform for medical students. You take charge of virtual patients, make decisions in real time and get a reasoned debrief after every case.

Are the clinical cases adapted to the local context?

Yes. Every scenario is co-written with practising doctors. Protocols, drugs and decisions reflect real clinical practice.

Which specialties are covered?

Emergency medicine, cardiology, neurology, paediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology, intensive care. Nine specialties at launch, with more being written.

How does feedback work after a scenario?

After each decision, you get the clinical reasoning: why it was right, why it was borderline, what a senior would have done. At the end, a score for each area (diagnosis, treatment, speed, safety).

Does Simunara replace clinical placements?

No. Simunara comes on top of placements: it prepares you for them. The goal is not to replace the ward, but to arrive on placement with your reasoning already practised, so the hours spent with real patients count for more.

Can professors write their own cases?

Yes. Professors write their cases in Simunara, assign them to their cohorts, then replay each of their students’ decisions, in the order it was made.

Can my institution build Simunara into its curriculum?

Yes. We offer an institutional roll-out with a professor dashboard, cohort tracking and integration into the programme. Ask for a demo.

On which devices can I use Simunara?

A web platform on any recent browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Nothing to install, nothing to download. Designed for computers and tablets; phones work, but the experience is better on a large screen.
